We are planning on exploring the 3 km of tropical rainforest with the help of a naturalist bilingual guide. The trails are connected by 15 bridges, some suspended in the canopy. We will be able to see Arenal Volcano from the bridges. It should be an unforgettable experience.

Our trip begins with a 30 minute 4X4 drive into the tropical rainfirest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano. We will trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon. For the more adventurist, pass the day exploring by foot, Rincon de La Vieja Volcano that rises majestically 6,284 feet out of the 34,800 acre park, home to more than 250 species of birds (including: Keel-billed Toucans and Blue-crowned Mot-mots) ocelots, sloths, jaguars, brocket deer, tapirs, coatis and of course monkeys. This remote scenic volcano is a hiker’s paradise. There are countless winding trails through a combination of a tropical and dry forest with boiling mud-pots, craters, hot sulfur springs and geysers passing lakes, streams, waterfalls and Costa Rica’s famous wildlife and flora and fauna.
