Picture this. It's 1869. A 6 year old boy hears a baby crying in the other room. He walks over to the bassinet and sees the baby's blanket has been kicked off and the room is cold. He reaches over the bassinet, pulls the blanket over her and starts singing to her. All of the sudden, the baby stops crying and stares up at the little boy. He smiles and starts tickling her toes. She giggles. Everything is ok.
30 years later.....we're getting MARRIED!!!!!!
Well, obviously that wasn't us. I mean 1869, really? However, this is the base of what our relationship stands on. Ken is always making me laugh and to see the good side of life. He has spoiled me and treated me in a way that has totally made up for my rough childhood. It's as if he is the gift for every hardship I've been through in my life. He is a man that can handle a strong, at times crazy, asian woman who is also his queen and respected team partner in life. Even after dating almost 7 years, we are still crazy about each other:)
We both feel we've met our soul mate and we are excited for the next step w're taking. Honestly, I feel like I'm marrying my best-friend. We've been through a lot already so we are ready for anything that life throws at us. We will walk through every hoop and battles together while holding hands.
