Our ceremony and reception will both take place at Hummingbird Hollow just outside of Porterville, California. The wedding ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 3:30 in the afternoon, the reception is to follow. Hummingbird Hollow is a beautiful outdoor garden site surrounded by orange groves. The event is to be a fairly casual garden wedding, the ceremony (weather permiting) will take place out in the beautiful California sunshine, so wear hats, sunscreen, etc if you know you need to, and as a warning...there are no paved surfaces, so choose your footwear accordingly!

The reception is to immediately follow the wedding ceremony, the reception site, however, is covered so fear not if there are rain clouds that day! There will of course be drinks, dinner, dancing and dessert. Please feel free to leave any song suggestions or requests as a post on this website!

We are very excited to be able to share this special day with all of our family and friends and understand that this may be a long trip for some and want those who cannot make it to know that you will be there in our hearts to share the day with us!

For all the guests arriving in town a little early for the big day, there will be a gathering at the house of the bride's parents, Sue & Lyle Neutz, on Friday evening. It will be a great chance for members of both the bride and groom's families to get to know each other before the main event. Specifics on location address and time will be posted soon!

We have opted to forgo the traditional wedding registry at department stores as our home is already "set up" and overflowing with too many things. However, we would really enjoy a nice long honeymoon away from it all!
