Roy and Joy were introduced by a friend and met twice during two different birthday parties. It was only after the second meeting that Roy got up the courage to ask Joy's friend for her number. That was over 5 years ago and they have been together ever since.

Roy and Joy are getting married at the beautiful and historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Sioux City. The wedding ceremony will be at 5:00 PM on July 9, 2011.

On Friday, July 8th from 5:00-9:00 PM Roy and Joy will be hosting a rehearsal dinner barbeque at their home at 3419 Jennings Street, Sioux City, IA. Any guests that are arriving on Friday are welcome to come and enjoy a midwest grill out and fine beverages.

Parking is available on the streets outside the Orpheum Theater (Pierce St. between 4th & 6th St) for no charge during the weekend. Covered parking is available at the parking ramp located at the corner of Nebraska St. & 5th St. in the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center.

A social hour will immediately follow the ceremony from 5:30-6:15. Dinner will be served around 6:30 on the stage. The dance with a DJ and karoke will follow dinner. Sadly, the party will have to end around midnight.

Airports near Sioux City, IA:

*Sioux Gateway Airport-Sioux City, IA (about 8 miles/15 minutes from the Orpheum Theater). It's

most convenient to fly into this airport; however, the ticket prices to fly into this airport is generally

expensive. Car rental is available. Arrangements could be made to pick up guests who fly into Sioux Gateway airport.

*Eppley Airport-Omaha, NE (about 90 miles/1.5 hours from Orpheum Theater) This is the next reasonably priced airport near Sioux City. Car rental is available in Omaha. Many guests may be flying into this airport, feel free to use our blog on our website to carpool and avoid high gas prices!

*Sioux Falls Regional Airport-Sioux Falls, SD (about 90 miles/1.5 hours from Orpheum Theater).

Here is another airport option that flys into South Dakota instead of Iowa or Nebraska. Sometimes this airport runs deals that puts pricing in the same range of Eppley Airport. Car rental is available in Sioux Falls.
